Arrival to Kraków: the royal heart of Małopolska

The first day is dedicated to exploring Kraków, one of the most important historical cities in Poland. A walk around the Main Market Square allows visitors to feel the unique atmosphere of the city and see the Cloth Hall and St. Mary’s Basilica. Next, it is worth visiting Wawel Hill with its Royal Castle and Cathedral. A short rest in the Planty Park offers a moment of relaxation surrounded by greenery. In the afternoon, Kazimierz district is an ideal place for a walk. The day ends with dinner in one of Kraków’s atmospheric restaurants.

Tracing history: Wieliczka and Oświęcim

The second day begins with a visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, which impresses visitors with its underground chambers and salt sculptures. Touring the mine is a unique experience combining history and art. Afterwards, the journey continues to Oświęcim. A visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum is an important and reflective part of the trip. It helps visitors better understand the history of the 20th century and pay tribute to the victims. In the evening, there is a return to Kraków or an overnight stay nearby.

The fourth day is devoted to the Pieniny Mountains and outdoor activities. The main attraction is a rafting trip on the Dunajec River, offering spectacular views of the mountains and the river gorge. It is one of the most iconic attractions in the region. After the rafting, it is worth visiting Szczawnica, known for its spa atmosphere and promenade. Alternatively, Piwniczna-Zdrój is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. The day ends with an overnight stay in a mountain resort

Active day around Lake Czorsztyn
Szczawnica → Niedzica / Czorsztyn → Chochołów
This day combines physical activity with stunning landscapes. The cycling route around Lake Czorsztyn is considered one of the most scenic bike trails in the region. Along the way, visitors can admire panoramic views of the Tatra Mountains, the Pieniny range, and the lake itself. Afterwards, there is time to visit Niedzica Castle and the ruins of Czorsztyn Castle. Both sites offer fascinating history and excellent viewpoints. In the evening, the perfect way to relax is a visit to the Chochołowskie Thermal Baths.

The final day begins with an early departure to the Tatra Mountains. The walk to Morskie Oko follows a wide paved road and is accessible to most visitors. At the destination, travelers are rewarded with views of one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in Poland. For those who wish, a hike to Czarny Staw below Mount Rysy is possible. It is an ideal place to relax and reflect on the entire journey. The trip concludes with a return or an overnight stay in the area.
